Tetracore’s FSD shared their research on mixture deconvolution of human sequencing data with the forensic community at the 36th International Symposium on Human Identification (ISHI) in West Palm Beach, FL. DNA mixtures can be challenging for traditional forensics. While next-generation sequencing allows for a higher-level of data discrimination, it can stop most analysis in its tracks due to complexity. FSD validated mixture deconvolution for its challenging laboratory samples and shared its experience with the community.
